Project details
The marketplace platform which helps everyone involved in the tourism industry to efficiently digitalize the distribution of activities and transfers using technology. The main goal is to connect hotels with selected suppliers and enable customers to book a tour/leisure event, etc. The company's offices are currently located in Germany and Switzerland.
Your Tasks
- Developing reliable backend services and APIs in collaboration with Product Managers and other Engineers
- Taking the initiative to improve existing solutions, challenge decisions, suggest alternatives and eliminate technical debt
- Creating fast, reliable, and tested code that improves application experiences
- Contributing to the roadmap creation process by supporting with estimations and impact analysis
- Understanding the user pain points and business needs to ensure a high product-market-fit

Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial experience on backend services
- Extensive knowledge of the Java ecosystem, particularly with the Spring Boot Framework
- Hands-on experience of building and managing PostgreSQL databases
- Good understanding of Service Oriented and Microservice Architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms and container technologies, i.e. AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- Good command of English (at least B2 level)
